51st Annual Chicago Business Opportunity Fair

The ChicagoMSDC invites you to the historic 51st Annual Chicago Business Opportunity Fair, the nation's first and region’s largest conference and trade fair connecting qualified, certified minority suppliers with corporate and government buyers. More than 1,000 corporate executives, minority business owners and government officials attend each year.

Presented by Allstate the Chicago Business Opportunity Fair #CBOF51 will be held April 24-25, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

Who will attend CBOF51

The Chicago Business Opportunity Fair is the largest procurement conference and trade fair in our marketplace dedicated to connecting minority business enterprises (MBEs) with corporate and government buying organizations.

  • Established minority-owned businesses that buy and/or supply goods and services business-to-business.

  • Corporate and government buying organizations seeking minority-owned firms to diversify their supply chain.

  • Resource organizations that support small business development and growth for minority-owned enterprises.

    Thursday, April 20th begins with educational workshops and the invitation-only corporate 1-on-1 meetings.  Suppliers will interact with corporate leaders, buyers, and our supplier diversity community leaders throughout the day in various interactive sessions.

    Friday, April 21st begins with a huge Sponsors Breakfast and an internationally known keynote speaker.  Details to be announced.

     

Connecting with prospects

Establishing, maintaining and growing relationships is essential to success and the Chicago Business Opportunity Fair is the best way to connect with the supplier diversity community.

  • There are multiple networking events to attend to have casual interaction and conversations within the supplier diversity community.  The workshop networking luncheon, he MBEIC Awards Reception and Dinner, and the Topping Out Reception events create a perfect opportunity to jumpstart new relationships and reinvigorate established relationships.

  • By invitation only, corporate buyers will host short introductory procurement conversations with pre-selected, qualified minority business enterprises during the Corporate 1-on-1 meetings, Thursday, April 20th.

  • The ultimate marketplace to meet and connect with other suppliers, resource organizations, and prospective buyers is at the CBOF Trade Fair, Friday, April 21st.
