The Chicago Business Opportunity Fair (CBOF) is the nation’s longest running multi-day conference and trade fair focused on economic empowerment and development of minority business enterprises. This year’s theme “Roadmap to Success: Building a Golden Opportunity” prepares minority businesses navigating the dynamic landscape of B2B supplier sourcing and contracting.
On Friday, April 22, 2016, the ChicagoMSDC and Nicor Gas will host nearly 1,000 attendees at CBOF49 Sponsors Breakfast. The keynote address will be delivered by Hill Harper, award-winning actor, philanthropist, and best selling author.
Harper starred on the CBS TV drama CSI: NY followed by two seasons on USA’s Covert Affairs. Harper returned to CBS in the fall of 2015 as Agent Spelman Boyle in the drama Limitless. He can also be seen in Sony Pictures’ film Concussion.
The magna cum laude graduate of Brown University also holds law and master of public administration degrees from Harvard. Harper is the author of four New York Times best-sellers, and he has written a series of educational, self-improvement books, including The Wealth Cure: Putting Money in its Place (2011).
